Online viewership increased in popularity during the pandemic.

The National Justice Council (CNJ) regulated online hearings in 2010 with Resolution No. 105, despite the recent attention on videoconferencing for hearings.

Judges, lawyers, and parties must follow CNJ rules when hosting an online audience to ensure the fair legal process is upheld, despite the benefits of the procedure in today’s context.

Remote work presents difficulties for the legal industry, which has been hesitant to embrace the trend due to compliance issues, strict regulations, and worries about safeguarding client information. Nonetheless, advancements in technology have sparked notable transformations in this landscape, largely fueled by improved security measures and increased connectivity.
